What is forage & friends?
Forage & Friends is a one-day, in-person foraging walk and herbal medicine-making workshop hosted on our 87-acre self-sustaining food forest in Georgia. You’ll spend the day learning how to identify and ethically harvest wild herbs while gaining insight into their traditional Indigenous and medicinal uses.
This isn’t just about learning from the land — it’s about reconnecting with it together. Whether you're new to herbalism or looking to sharpen your skills, this event is designed to help you build confidence, grow your herbal knowledge, and enjoy time with like-minded people who value healing, land-based practice, and culture.
Want More? Stay for the Hands-On medicine-making Workshop
After the walk, we’ll gather for a hands-on session where you'll turn your harvest into usable remedies. You’ll learn how to make herbal teas, herbal cocktails, and blended formulas using the plants picked earlier in the day. The workshop focuses on simple preparation techniques rooted in traditional knowledge, with space for questions, group sharing, and personal reflection.
All materials are provided. No experience is needed—just bring your curiosity.
